Abstract

Current technological advances have made it easier to access information, including in the field of children's health. One form of digital media that is currently growing rapidly is Podcasts, namely internet-based audio broadcasts. Podcasts are a digital medium that can provide information, entertainment, and education for audiences. Podcasts are a medium that is not only entertaining, but also used to convey educational messages to a wide audience, for example, regarding children's health. A Podcast discussing children's health is available on the account of one public figure, namely Nikita Willy, Nikita Willy is a content creator who has a YouTube account called "Nikita Willy Official" which has a "Mom's Corner" segment. The Mom's Corner Podcast is presented communicatively as an educational media that focuses on family life, parenting patterns, and children's health. By using three main elements of educational media: Transformational Learning, Relational-based practice and Experiential Learning according to Fox and Singer. The purpose of this study is to examine in more depth the content of the Mom's Corner Podcast as an influential educational media in increasing young mothers' awareness of children's health. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results of this study indicate that the Mom's Corner Podcast successfully implemented educational media indicators by presenting an informative, relevant, and engaging Podcast. The relationship built between the audience creates trust and awareness in listening to the Mom's Corner Podcast.
