Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of storage memory usage from three smartphones within a family using the concepts of matrix and vector algebra. The collected data include total storage capacity, amount of used memory, and remaining storage on each device. The data are arranged in the form of tables and a 3×3 matrix so that they can be quantitatively compared. The results show that the first smartphone uses 41.2 GB out of 64 GB of storage, the second smartphone uses 43 GB out of 128 GB, and the third smartphone has the highest memory usage, consuming 84.3 GB out of 128 GB. Matrix-based analysis helps clearly present differences in storage capacity and memory usage, as well as identify devices that are approaching their storage limits. Therefore, matrix algebra facilitates better understanding and management of smartphone storage conditions. To further illustrate this, it also suggests analyzing the use of more efficient memory optimization techniques to prevent rapid storage overflow. Using a matrix algebraic approach, we can better model and manage memory, identifying devices that require more attention in terms of storage space management.
