Artificial Intelligence dalam Konten Edukasi Digital: Bias Informasi dan Tantangan Etika Komunikasi

The rapid growth of social media has transformed the consumption of educational content, increasingly shaped by Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as chatbots, AI-generated voiceovers, and automated editing tools. This study examines information bias and communication ethics in AI-generated educational content on social media and their impact on information credibility. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research combines digital observation of educational content on TikTok and Instagram with a literature review. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis based on the Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) framework. The findings indicate that while AI improves content production efficiency and visual attractiveness, it can also create information bias through oversimplification and limited academic verification. Ethical concerns arise from the lack of transparency in AI usage, as creators often fail to disclose AI-generated materials, potentially misleading audiences. This condition contributes to an epistemic trust dilemma, where users face difficulties distinguishing between verified human expertise and automated outputs. From a CMC perspective, AI functions not only as a technological tool but also as an active agent in shaping messages and audience perceptions. These findings highlight the need for stronger digital literacy and ethical transparency to preserve the credibility and integrity of educational information in the digital era.
