Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant positive impact on the tourism sector, including tour boat booking services in Labuan Bajo. Many operators still rely on manual booking processes, resulting in inefficient services, data recording errors, scheduling conflicts, and delays in providing information to customers. This research aims to design and develop a website-based tour boat booking system that enables tourists to make reservations quickly, conveniently, and securely while helping managers manage booking data, monitor transactions, and generate reports efficiently. The research applies the Waterfall software development method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation to ensure functionality and reliability. The proposed system provides features such as tour boat information, departure schedules, online reservations, payment confirmation, booking history, customer data management, and administrator access control. The research results are expected to improve service effectiveness, reduce administrative errors, enhance customer satisfaction, simplify the online booking process, and support better decision-making for business operations. Furthermore, the system is expected to increase accessibility, strengthen information accuracy, improve operational efficiency, support sustainable tourism development, and provide greater benefits overall.
