Sistem Informasi Database Aset Secara Realtime di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan

Manual asset management at the Public Works Office of South Sulawesi Province is still considered inefficient and vulnerable to input errors, data duplication, incomplete records, and delays in information access. These conditions often hinder staff in carrying out asset administration, monitoring asset conditions, and preparing reports accurately and on time. This study aims to design and develop a web-based asset database information system that can support more effective, efficient, and structured asset management. The system was developed using the waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The programming process was carried out using PHP and MySQL as the database, while system functionality was tested through black box testing to ensure that every feature worked according to user requirements. In addition, usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure user comfort and system acceptance. The results show that the system was successfully implemented and all key functions, including data input, editing, deletion, search, and reporting, ran properly. The system also supports real-time asset data processing, making information easier to access and manage. The SUS results reached a score of 85, which is categorized as excellent. Therefore, the proposed system is feasible and effective for improving asset management in government institutions.
