Analisis dan Evaluasi Kinerja Sistem Informasi Absensi Karyawan di PT. Cantika Alami Indonesia Menggunakan Metode Pieces

Employee attendance systems play an important role in supporting human resource management and managerial decision-making. PT. Cantika Alami Indonesia still uses a manual attendance system through attendance books and signatures, which are later recapitulated using Microsoft Excel. This system has the potential to cause recording errors, data manipulation, and inefficiencies in information processing. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the performance of the employee attendance information system using the PIECES method. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires distributed to 35 respondents. The observation results indicate that the attendance and data recapitulation processes require considerable time and have a low level of control. The results of the PIECES calculation show average scores of 1.58 for performance, 1.56 for information, 1.62 for economy, 1.52 for control, 1.66 for efficiency, and 1.59 for service, all of which fall into the very poor category. These findings indicate that the manual attendance system has not been operating optimally. Therefore, evaluation and development of a technology-based attendance.
