Analisa Sistem Informasi Penggajian Guru pada SDS Islam Ahdi

Abstract

This study examines the teacher payroll information system implemented at SDS Islam AHDI. At present, the payroll process still depends heavily on manual recording and the use of basic Excel spreadsheets. Such methods often lead to frequent data entry errors, slow payroll processing, and difficulties in producing accurate and timely reports for administrative needs. Using a qualitative descriptive approach supported by the PIECES II framework, the analysis evaluates six key dimensions: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service. Data collected through questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents reveal consistently low scores across all categories—Performance (1.70), Information (1.57), Economy (1.52), Control (1.58), Efficiency (1.55), and Service (1.50). All of these values fall into the “very poor” category. The findings clearly indicate that the existing payroll system is far from effective and does not meet organizational requirements. Therefore, the study highlights the urgent need for a more structured, automated, and integrated system that can enhance data accuracy, accelerate payroll processing, and improve overall service quality for both teachers and administrative staff.
