Abstract

Where research on motorbikes is to determine the heat that occurs in engine components and determine the materials contained (used) in these engine components, when the engine operates with varying transmissions (loads). Some of the engine components that will be tested include: Crankcase, Muffler, Engine oil. The test was carried out on a Honda Revo F1 Fit type motorbike, using tools: Tachometer, Infrared thermometer, Stopwatch. However, the things that are used as a benchmark and in order to get efficient data, the testers set: engine speed 3000rpm, time 5 minutes, and initial temperature of engine components 29⁰c.

Materials really determine the quality of the engine components, because the materials contained in engine components play an active role in maintaining engine temperature stability, with different environmental temperatures and variable rotation, and varying transmission (load). If the quality of the materials in the engine components is reduced, and the temperature is not controlled when the engine is operating, it will result in overheating (over healing).
