Advances in information technology require educational institutions to manage administrative processes more efficiently. Teacher attendance is an important part of school administration because it serves as the basis for evaluating discipline, managing working time, and preparing attendance reports. At MTs Al Ikhlashiyah 2 Medan, teacher attendance is still recorded manually by writing names and signatures in an attendance book, which causes queues during peak hours, slow data retrieval, and time-consuming attendance recapitulation that is prone to counting errors. This research aims to design a web-based teacher attendance information system that uses a QR Code as the attendance medium and the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) algorithm to generate codes that change periodically, thereby reducing the possibility of attendance code misuse. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and a literature study. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, modeled with UML (use case diagram, activity diagram, and entity relationship diagram), built with PHP and MySQL, and tested using the Black Box method. The result is a web-based system that supports teacher data management, QR Code generation, contactless attendance by scanning, and attendance recapitulation reports. The Black Box testing shows that all system functions run in accordance with the specified requirements. The system is expected to help the school record attendance faster, reduce recording errors, and present teacher attendance reports in a more organized manner.
