Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pembuatan Berkas Pengajuan Data Terpadu pada Kesejahteraan Sosial Kecamatan Seberang Ulu Dua

Public service activities in the Social Welfare Section of Seberang Ulu Dua District are still largely conducted manually, particularly in managing Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS), Certificate of Inheritance, Certificate of Indigency (SKTM), and social assistance applications. This condition causes several problems, including data redundancy, human errors in data entry, difficulties in document retrieval, and inefficient administrative processes. This study aims to design a web-based information system to support the management and generation of social welfare administration documents. The system was developed using the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The application was built using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database management system. The proposed system provides centralized citizen data management, automated document generation, application verification, digital archiving, and report generation features. The implementation results indicate that the system can improve administrative efficiency, reduce data entry errors, accelerate document retrieval, and support more accurate and structured public service delivery. The system is expected to contribute to the digital transformation of administrative services in local government institutions.
