Abstract

In the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, businesses must actively adapt to these changes. Kedai Atha Langgen, a coffee and snack shop, faces challenges in managing sales transactions that are still conducted traditionally, leading to slow processing times. The purpose of this research is to implement a React Native-based cashier application using mobile framework and runtime technology that supports cross-platform deployment on Android, iOS, and web, while simplifying development, build, and debugging through the Expo ecosystem. The language and code quality are maintained using TypeScript and ESLint to ensure type safety and reduce bugs through static analysis and linting. To enhance user operations, a product image upload feature is integrated using expo-image-picker and the Cloudinary REST API. The system design method employs structured design, including Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and Activity Diagrams to model the system processes. The results of this study indicate that the cashier application successfully improves efficiency and enables effective sales performance monitoring. Therefore, the implementation of this application serves as the right solution to modernize the operational activities of the business.
