Tinjauan Literatur Perbandingan Human-Centered Design dan User-Centered Design dalam Meningkatkan Usability Sistem Berbasis Web

This study aims to analyze and compare the Human-Centered Design (HCD) and User-Centered Design (UCD) methods in improving the usability of web-based systems. The method employed is a systematic literature review (SLR) by examining a number of relevant national journal articles. The research process includes literature identification, article selection, content analysis, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that UCD is the most widely used method due to its simple, structured process and its direct focus on user needs, making it effective in significantly enhancing usability. Meanwhile, HCD offers a more comprehensive approach by considering human aspects holistically, including social, organizational, and stakeholder contexts. Although its implementation is more complex, HCD has proven to produce systems that are more contextual and sustainable. Therefore, both methods play important roles in the development of web-based systems, and their selection should be adjusted to the needs and complexity of the system being developed.
