Abstract

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) audit process at PTPN IV Sawit Langkat is still conducted manually, which often causes delays in document management and increases the risk of audit delays. This condition highlights the need for a web-based data management information system that can improve the efficiency of data collection and audit review processes. To assess the level of user readiness in adopting the system, the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) approach was applied through questionnaires and observations involving OHS staff, auditors, and managers. The data were analyzed based on the four main TRI dimensions and produced a total score of 3.51, indicating that users are categorized as ready to use technology. Based on these findings, a web-based OHS audit information system was designed using the Waterfall development model. The system includes key features such as announcement input, audit document uploads, report review, digital verification by managers, and structured document storage. The resulting system is able to support a faster, more organized, and easily accessible audit process for all related parties.
