Abstract

This study explores the relationship between system quality and information quality and EMIS user satisfaction in seven anonymized schools in the eastern region of Kecamatan X. An exploratory quantitative survey was conducted from 11 to 16 April 2026 by gathering data through a five-level Likert scale questionnaire administered to seven purposively selected EMIS users. Instrument validity was examined through Pearson correlation, whereas reliability was measured with Cronbach’s alpha, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results demonstrate that system quality demonstrates a positive effect on user satisfaction at the threshold of statistical significance, whereas information quality shows no significant effect within the model. The model accounts for a large portion of the variation in user satisfaction, although the combined effect of both predictors is not significant at the 5% level. These findings indicate that technical enhancements, particularly in accessibility, reliability, response time, and feature performance, should be prioritized over improvements to information output alone. This study offers preliminary evidence for school-level EMIS evaluation and provides practical recommendations for system development
